... have a personal canon ficlet!!  Basically, it's how Cordelia's plot in S4 SHOULD have ended, and I think the only reason it didn't end
this way, given the constant theme in BtVS and AtS of YOU DO NOT MAKE CORDELIA CHASE A VICTIM, is because Whedon was pissed with her.  Ugh.  Anyway, this is what should have happened...

Ok, so this is long - around 1,600 words.  But it's totally worth it.  It tells the stories of the women (minus Phaedra) who knew Theseus.  I'm really proud of it so I hope you enjoy.

... and it is so interesting from a feminist perspective.  Very well done as well.  I love how they haven't sugar coated it, or had the men on the show "ahead of their time" by respecting women or something.  I like how real it is.  And honestly, it makes my skin crawl.  How the women are treated... *shudder*  I felt almost physically repulsed, ( Read more... )
